Meet our Chef

Chef Darren Dewalt 

Chef Darren Dewalt began cooking professionally in the Seattle area, working

at the Schwartz Brother Restaurant Spazzo and Todd English inspired

restaurant Fish Club while attending Seattle Culinary Academy at Seattle

Central College. 

 

While living in Tri-Cities Chef Darren has helped manage various restaurants

in the area including Taverna Tagaris, Picazo 717, Veritas, Ice Harbor at the

Marina and Bookwalter Winery. With a primarily Mediterranean

background in cooking, it’s the opportunity to work with local vendors

and farms that delights him and inspires his cuisine.

 

When not in the kitchen, Darren enjoys riding his KTM sport bike, taking

his kids to the pool and going on road trips around the Pacific Northwest.

He particularly enjoys Friday mornings where he peruses the local produce

at the Richland Farmer’s Market in hopes of getting inspired for his next

delicious dish.
